Heymate has now sold Bazoom to Norwegian Hawk Infinity. The exact amount of the deal has not been disclosed, but Heymate states that it is their largest exit to date in the triple-digit millions.

“It has been an amazing journey with Bazoom Group. We at Heymate are incredibly proud to have helped build a company of this size in such a short time – and without external funding. A huge thank you to the entire team, who have all contributed to Bazoom’s great development,” says chairman and founder Christoffer Hübertz in a press release.

Great success in the US

Bazoom’s success is driven by a strong execution focus, and the team has built a significant international business at record speed. The initial focus was on Denmark, which quickly expanded to Scandinavia, and in 2021, founder Nicolai Klausen moved to the US to establish Bazoom in the US market, which is now the company’s largest market.

In April 2023, Rasmus Aksglæde was hired as CEO, bringing experience from Coloplast and Maersk, among others. Under his leadership, Bazoom has achieved significant growth, resulting in a turnover of over DKK 200 million in 2024. On November 1, 2024, Hawk Infinity will acquire all shares in Bazoom Group, while Rasmus Aksglæde, Nicolai Klausen and Nikolaj Østergaard will continue in the company.

“A special thanks to the two founders Nicolai Klausen and Nikolaj Østergaard, who have helped redefine the way both media and customers work with search engine optimization today. The focus has been on creating a platform that makes life easier for both customers and media, and they have succeeded,” says Christoffer Hübertz from Heymate.
