When it comes to buying new used clothes, toys or equipment for the kids, Reshopper is the first place many Danes log in. Now, the company is upgrading its management team, with Lasse Wulff Hansen taking up the position as the new CEO of Reshopper on August 1, 2024.

“I have followed Reshopper for many years and have been impressed by the team’s persistence and strong user-friendly platform. I am therefore both happy and grateful to be given the role as the new CEO, where I look forward to contributing with in-depth marketplace experience and helping to unlock an even greater potential for second-hand shopping for families with children,” says the newly appointed CEO Lasse Wulff Hansen, who has experience from a similar position at GulogGratis, in a press release.
It’s not just the CEO position that has been refreshed, as Mads Dahl Andersen also took over the position as Chairman of the Board. Mads Dahl Andersen also brings with him board experience from GulogGratis and DAO A/S, Boligportal A/S and North Media A/S, among others.
Full focus on the digital platform
The changes in management follow the closure of Reshopper’s physical stores earlier this year, and the company will now focus exclusively on the digital platform. As a result, former CEO, Casper Blom, has now taken a step back and assumed the role of Sales Director.
“I took over as CEO two years ago with the goal of connecting physical and digital second-hand retail by establishing stores across the country. With solid online growth behind us, the company now needs to focus a new strategy on the digital platform, which is why we have found a stronger candidate for the challenges who, together with the existing team, will realize the ambitions for the company, the technical platform and the market for families’ second-hand shops,” explains Casper Blom in the press release.
As part of the reshuffle, former Chairman Esben Gadsbøll has resigned and continues as a non-executive board member.
