After years of dedicated work, Jens Peder Kristensen, the founder of TinyMobileRobots, has made a very big decision. In a collaboration with the board, owners and management, he has chosen to hand over a significant part of the responsibility to Daniel Breum, the company’s new CEO and CCO, while Jens Peder retains the role of CTO.

“I’ve learned a surprising amount about sales, and it’s actually been reluctant because I’ve been looking for someone to take care of it for a long time. Now I’ve finally found Daniel, and I feel completely comfortable handing over the responsibility for operations to him, Jens Peder Kristensen shares with Erhverplus.

Early to market and huge potential

TinyMobileRobots, headquartered in Malling, south of Aarhus, Denmark, has so far been a leader in self-driving line marking robots. With Daniel Breum at the helm and an investment of DKK 100 million from, among others, the Swiss capital fund emerald ventures, the focus is now on consolidating the company’s position in the market.

The potential is huge, so the goal is to convince the world as soon as possible that they don’t need to push a chalk cart around. We were very early to market with a product and that gives us a number of advantages. This means, for example, that our technology is by far the most mature. But of course there are other companies, probably also larger and more established ones, looking at this segment, and the competition is bound to increase,” says Daniel Breum to Erhvervplus.
