“Datek Smart Home’s cloud software and IoT expertise complements our hardware platform perfectly. This acquisition enables us to offer a unique turnkey IoT platform to meet growing demands from OEM customers for customized security and energy solutions,” says Karsten Ries, Group CEO of Develco Products, in a press release.

Over the years, Develco Products and Datek Smart Home have built a solid foundation in white label IoT products and cloud solutions, especially targeting OEM customers in the energy, healthcare and security industries in Europe and North America. With this acquisition, Develco Products expands its IoT expertise by integrating Datek Smart Homes cloud solutions with its own product platform. This combination will now strengthen the company’s position in the rapidly growing IoT markets.

Accelerate the growth journey

With a combined 60 years of experience in the IoT industry, Develco Products and Datek Smart Home bring broad technical expertise and in-depth market understanding. The combination of hardware and cloud software gives the new company the capacity to deliver fully integrated IoT solutions, from sensors and gateways to comprehensive services with dedicated support. For OEM customers, this means easier implementation of IoT services into their existing business and addresses the need for flexible and user-friendly solutions.
