Kanpla started their journey back in 2019 when the idea took shape during high school. The young entrepreneurs worked towards the first investment, which came in 2020. In 2022, they landed a significant deal with a Dutch Venture FundA venture fund is professional investors who scout start-ups to invest and mentor, aiming for innovation, growth, and returns. It is high risk, high reward. More, giving them the resources to begin their international scaling, which started in 2023.

Now they have acquired Denmark’s largest platform for central kitchens, ORDR, where the production of meals is pre-packed and shipped out. This makes them the Nordic region’s leading supplier for catering in both physical canteens and centralized kitchens.
He also adds that they have moved over 20 of Denmark’s largest kitchens from ORDR to the Kanpla platform. Onboarded over 1,750 companies to pre-order their daily lunch from Kanpla, resulting in an additional +750,000 monthly orders on the Kanpla platform.
