We are buying more and more meals and snacks on the go. At the same time, there is a growing expectation for healthy and sustainable food products. That’s why Food & Bio Cluster Denmark has entered into a new collaboration where they invite startups and food companies to give their take on the healthy and sustainable snack of the future.
IFF – The Mindful Snack Challenge will focus on new ingredients and processes that create new taste and texture experiences.
“With our IFF Innovate challenge, we are looking for a healthy snack alternative. We are looking for groundbreaking and innovative solutions for textures and flavors that are both delicious and surprising, yet free from the health concerns that come with traditional snacks,” says Rasmus Lybech Jensen, Senior Scientist II at IFF.
Registration will close soon
Registration for the IFF – The Mindful Snack Challenge is still open. But those interested should hurry, as registration closes on Monday, September 2, 2024. After that, a thorough screening process will begin, where a number of finalists will be selected. In October, the finalists will have the opportunity to pitch at IFF’s research campus in Aarhus.
