13 brands unite into one company and now the board is strengthened

In November last year, 13 brands were merged into one unified company that divides its areas of expertise into four divisions: Cloud & Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Digital Transformation and Application Services. The merger means they can now operate as a 360-degree IT partner for customers who need it, while maintaining existing customer relationships and niche services. They go by the name itm8.

Ready for Germany and Europe

After merging, they welcome Dirk Didascalou, CTO at Siemens Digital Industries, to the board. He joins a board of strong IT professionals led by Chairman Frank Vium, who has previously held senior positions at Microsoft and Nokia.

With this in mind, itm8 now has a strong foundation to expand into Germany and other European markets.

“With Dirk Didascalou on board, we are preparing for expansion into Europe. Dirk brings extensive experience in driving scale through his current role as CTO at Siemens Digital Industries, as well as from his previous leadership roles at Amazon, Microsoft and Nokia,” says Chairman Frank Vium.

Dirk Didascalou has been CTO at Siemens Digital Industries since 2021 and previously held positions as Vice President of Internet of Things at Amazon Web Services, Corporate Vice President of Technology & Research at Microsoft, and Senior Vice President of Mobile Phones R&D at Nokia.

Frank Vium has twenty years of experience driving growth and transformation in technology-led businesses. Today, he works professionally as a board member and has held international management positions at Microsoft and Nokia.
