Fast-paced startup event coming to Aarhus: “We need to secure the next generation of cool startups”

There will be a lot of action when Startup Aarhus on 27, 28. and September 29, 2024, the doors open for Startup Weekend. Here, budding entrepreneurs can try out their ideas with a bunch of like-minded people.

“Startup Weekend will help secure the next generation of cool startups in Aarhus. Our ecosystem is growing, but it can still be a challenge to get a foothold and get started with your idea. Many talented people are eager to build startups, but lack the idea, network or co-founders to get started,” says Line Bech, Event Lead at Startup Aarhus.

Startup Weekend is a fast-paced 54-hour hackathon where participants learn in groups how to think, work and grow like a real startup. Along the way, you can get guidance from experienced mentors, founders and partners.

International setup

Startup Weekend is organized in collaboration with Techstars, a global pre-seed investor with investments in over 4000 early-stage startups in the book.

In his role as facilitator, Startup Weekend will be joined by Reginald Bien-Aime from Switzerland, who has extensive experience and insights from several startup events in the Swiss ecosystem.
