After nine years, the INCUBA science park said goodbye to Mai Louise Agerskov as CEO on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. Jacob Doktor Mogensen will step into the role as the new CEO of INCUBA from October 15, 2024.

Jacob Doktor Mogensen, who has over 15 years of experience in innovation and entrepreneurship, will be the new CEO. Since January 2024, he has been responsible for Acceleration & Investor Relations and later also Community & Communications at INCUBA, where he has already made a significant mark on the organization’s development. One of his recent successes includes organizing the Aarhus Investor Summit 2024 at Aarhus City Hall, where over 200 investors and startups from both Denmark and abroad attended.
“I am incredibly happy and proud to have been given the opportunity as CEO of INCUBA. I didn’t see it coming when I started on January 1, but new opportunities arose that I just couldn’t pass up. I see INCUBA as a unique place for innovation and growth, and I am extremely happy and proud to lead the organization together with the talented team we have at INCUBA. I look forward to working with the team to make INCUBA an even better place for the development of spinouts, startups, and scaelups and thereby contribute to even more knowledge from the university being translated into companies and more knowledge-intensive jobs being created,” says Jacob Doktor Mogensen in a press release.
Strengthening your position in the ecosystem
Jacob Doktor Mogensen has worked with entrepreneurship, incubation and acceleration at INCUBA, Food & Bio Cluster Denmark and Agro Business Park for the past five years. During his last eight months at INCUBA, he has strengthened the organization’s position within the startup and investor community and promoted collaboration with both business clusters and business promotion actors. According to INCUBA’s board of directors, these efforts are one of the main reasons why he was chosen for the position of CEO.
