This post is also available in: Danish

Technology enthusiasts of all ages can look forward to two days packed with robots, AI and an insight into tomorrow’s everyday technology. The Wild Technologies festival at Dokk1 in Aarhus will buzz and beep when the future moves in on Friday 30 August and Saturday 30 August. August 30 and Saturday, August August 31st.

The world is facing major societal challenges that require wild technological solutions. Climate crisis, health crisis, supply crisis and a host of other crises require us to think big – and technologically to find solutions. That’s why this year’s festival is focusing on how new technology can help us solve the big societal problems.

“The wild problems are not just something we’re struggling with in Aarhus Municipality. They are societal problems that we must work together to solve across municipal and national borders. We have launched a festival that, through showcasing, perspective and best practice in the latest technologies, can help strengthen collaboration between the public and private sectors. Together we can develop the socially beneficial technological solutions that are needed,” says Bo Fristed, Head of Aarhus Municipality’s Department of Innovation, Technology and Creativity, co-organizer of Wild Technologies.

Exploring the technologies

Wild Technologies features showcases, talks and a large expo area where there will be exhibitions from private companies, educational institutions and municipalities. Of course, there will also be lots of robots. Wild Technologies runs over two days, so there’s plenty of opportunity to get a taste of the technology that may become part of everyone’s everyday life.

Friday’s program focuses on innovation and business development as companies, educational institutions, policy makers and government officials come together for a day packed with robots and AI solutions. Saturday’s program focuses on fun and games with AI and robots for everyone, and we also address some of the many questions you may have as a citizen in a country where AI and robots are becoming an increasingly important part of everyday life.

Wild Technologies at Dokk1 in Aarhus on August 30 and August 31 is free and open to all.
