InCommodities has just donated a large amount of money to a new research center at Aarhus University as part of the green transition to green energy.
CoRE is an abbreviation of Center for Research in Energy. The new research center focuses on independent research into the economics and market of energy, as well as disciplines related to the field – such as climate and environment. The research will focus on building quantitative economic models and analysis, method development, empirical analysis and data-driven applied research in the field.
Who is InCommodities?
InCommodities is an Aarhus-based startup founded in 2017 by the four founders Emil Gerhardt, Jeppe Højgaard, Christian Bach and Jesper Johansen.
The goal of the company is to change the way wholesale businesses operate. Today, they count over 200+ employees across the globe. In addition, the American giant Goldman Sachs is a minority shareholder in the energy trading company.
